We had our DnD on 19 Dec 07 @ Meritus Mandarin....."BACK TO SCHOOL"

I was one of the committee members for this year. Thus on that day, we finished our work at about 1pm and headed to the hotel to do some packing of our door gift ... a jacket.With the other committee members, Phyllis, Renee and Connie. Busy packing the jackets into bag.

Disney Naturally Restaurant

Recently met Melvin and was told that he is working in a Disney Restaurant at Anchor Point.
So we went there to have our dinner on 20 Dec 07 (Hari Raya Haji).

In this restaurant, their seats have the mickey shape. Even the pizza comes in the shape of Mickey's head.

The food is quite ok.

Snow White's Pot - Hearty stew served with bread (local name : curry chicken)

Temasek Club - Silver Jubilee

Temasek Club celebrated its 25th years on 16 Dec 07. There was a carnival and flea market at the club. Buffet dinner was being served too. There was a performance organised by the club and the 'Papaya Sisters' from the famous local movie 881 was there too. Mei Mei likes the movie and also the Papaya Sisters... so we brought them there to see the performance.

Before the performance begin, the lady who acted as the elder papaya sister was there and we grab the opportunity to take a picture with her. Mei Mei was very happy.

Mickey Mouse Photo-Taking Session

After the kids swimming lesson, we decided to go Parkway Parade for Burger King breakfast. At the event hall, there is this Mickey Mouse's photo-taking session. Every $30 spent, entitled a chance to take photo with Mickey, Minnie and Donald.

The picture was taken during the Halloween Party. He was so excited when he saw himself on it.

As for Mei Mei, she won 1 of the game ..."Spot the Difference" ... this is to find out 7 differences between 2 pictures.... she did it all by herself and thus won herself $30 Temasek Vouchers.

Art Class

Signed the kids up for Art Class at Tampines Changkat CC in the month of Aug 07. But the CC only managed to start the 1st lesson on 26 Oct 07.

Both Keith and Crystal missed the 1st lesson as the chose to go to the Halloween Party at Temasek Club.

So their 1st lesson was on 2 Nov 07. Duration of class is 2 hours. Course fee is only $40 per child for 12 lessons. This is the cheapest I can find after searching thru all the CC ....

Halloween Party on 26 Oct 07

Temasek Club organised Halloween Night for the kids so I decided to bring the kids there. The week before, we went to look for the costume but they are really expensive. So finally I just bought a pair of wings for Crystal and a pirate hat + sword for Keith...

The other accessories which the kids put on were actually their toys....

Even though I didn't spend much on their costume , they were actually considered as "Best Dress"....

Overall, the kids enjoyed themselves very much cos beside games, they also have magic show for them.
