Bintan - Nirwana Resort Hotel

Went for a short holiday break @ Bintan (Indonesia) from 28 - 30 May 07. Stayed at the Nirwana Resort Hotel.

Had our dinner @ the Kelong Restaurant. The food was X and not nice.

The favourite thing the kids like to do is to swim.... and we also have a morning stroll @ the beach. The beach is clean and the water is clear. (Note: photo taken by Crystal).

There is a "makan and shopping centre" known as Pasar Oleh Oleh... so we decided to go there for lunch. All you need to do is to arrange for the restaurant at Oleh Oleh and they will send a car to the hotel to fetch you there...but the min amt to spend at the restaurant is S$36.

There is an Arcade Game Centre and the kids enjoyed themselves very much playing the games there.
This is another thing that the kids enjoyed doing... soaked themselves in the bubble bath

Crystal's 4 years old birthday celebration at Sparkletots ChildCare. And her birthday cake is her favourite character "My Melody".

This was outfit she wore to attend Keith's graduation concert cos she was selected
to be in the "Welcome Team"...welcome the guest of honour.

Report Book

Today is the last day of School. .....School Holidays liao

Went to Yumin to collect the report book for Keith and also have a short meeting with his form teacher, Mrs Singh.

Guess what..she showed me a picture of Keith sleeping in class while doing his work..... the picture was named "cute" by Mrs Singh's kids. So pai seh.

Overall, he passed his exam.
With Oral, his English marks is 50/100....just passed (at least better than fail)
With Oral, his Chinese marks i s 61/100

Maths the best....86/100

Flea Market

Recently we just had 2 sessions of flea market... 1st at Tampines and the 2nd at Tanglin Mall. The stall holder is (you know who)... she has so many things to sell....clothes, bags and children clothing...... Just wonder how she can have so much to sell.....

The 2 days (12 - 13 May 07) at Tampines was not very good...the crowd there do not like to buy 2nd hand stuffs.

But at Tanglin Mall (19 May 07), it was so different.... the people just dug through the whole stack of clothings that my "stall owner" placed on the floor. Just wonder why they got so much energy to do the "digging".

Overall, it was a very good experience.

Gals... want to do it again?

Gathering

Went China Square for Tim Sum on 20 May 07. It was to celebrate "Mother's Day". I know it was a belated one but well this is our normal practice. The food was really good at this restaurant : China Tea House.

Happened to see this big leave outside Capital Square... it looks bigger than the 2 kids.

There was a flea market nearby so we went to take a look. Only a few stalls and the place looks very quite.

But I still managed to buy a set of books for the kids.... 6 books for just $4 (actually $5.50) as I was the 1st customer so the auntie gave me discount. I dun have to bargain.

After lunch, we went shopping at Giant and Courts (Tampines) and finally have our dinner at Bark's Cafe.

Growing Stages - Keith Phua

Birthdate : 29 Dec 2000

** During that time, all photos were taken using the old type of camera (with film)..thus was not able to upload into my computer...can only start with this picture.

Start from about 4mths ....

Keith is 1 year old, those items displayed are his 1 year birthday presents.

He is 1 year 6 mths old ------------------>

Keith turns 2 on 29 Dec 2002 and started his childcare life at "SparkleTots Child Care Centre" on 3 Jan 2003.....to others he is 3 yrs old but actually he is only 2

For at least 9 mths, he will cry whenever we sent him to school. And his favourite phrase is "Papa come, Mama come"

His favourite toy is "Mahjong"

At this stage, he has changed his "Mahjong toy" to ship or boat

Celebrated his 4th year old birthday @ Swensen (Changi Airport T1)

Just before his 5th birthday, he fell and hurt his left arm during his outdoor activities (8 Dec 05). He was then in bandage for about 3-4 mths before doctor decided that he needed an operation to put a screw in his elbow so that the bone will heal.

My poor boy...still remember when i was with him just before he entered the operation theatre, my heart was so pain and tears just came rolling down

5th birthday celebration in school. The kids look so blurr cos they just woke up from their afternoon nap.

This picture was taken not long after his operation.
This was his outfit for his graduation concert on 4/11/06.. He was so proud of his performance and kept telling me the he was the leader of the team cos teacher placed him to stand in the centre.
This was his 6th birthday celebration...did not do a grand one for him. Just bought a ice-cream cake and have seafood dinner at Changi..with his " Ah Yi"

And now, he is in Primary 1.........how time flies!!!!!!!!!!!
