40 Years of National Service Commemoration Dinner 2007

We were invited to attend this dinner on 27 Sept 07 @ Pasar Laba Camp

There were only 4 dishes served on that night....

3rd dish

and finally the dessert

Frankly speaking both of us do not know how to enjoy this type of food.... we still prefer typical chinese food... like those served during a wedding.

Mid Autumn Festival @ Chinese Garden

Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration @ Yumin Primary School

Yumin Primary School celebrated Mid Autumn Festival on 21 Sep 07. Parents were invited to join in the celebration..and just contribute either Mooncake, Pomelo or groundnuts.

The celebration started at 730pm and end around 930pm. There were performance by the children from different levels.

Then there was a neigbhourhood walk with lanterns.


Keith and his friends were all ready to start the walk.

Crystal also joined in the walk with her lantern. Morover, she was all dressed up for the occassion.

Finally we ended up in the school canteen to have some food.

Guess what this little girl likes most.....groundnut....she was busy eating them. Maybe she was hungry too cos she also took quite a few pieces of mooncakes.

Check-Up

Keith went for his check up on 7 Sep 07 and was told by the doctor, Dr Kevin Lim, he is recovering fine.

Finally, the whole ordeal will be coming to an end. The last and final check up will be in Feb 08.

The treatment and recovery period took almost 2 years.

Thanks God it is coming to an end.
